The Planter system’s Central Unit is a state-of-the-art climate control computer. It serves as a communication hub that manages the greenhouse climate and the operation of equipment. It collects data from a network of wireless sensors and analyzes it effectively to create optimal conditions for growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and ornamental plants.

3D spatial visualizations of daily temperature and humidity distributions provide a visual representation that allows you to quickly grasp vast amounts of data and have a real impact on plant health.

How does Planter help with crop management?

Planter System is a comprehensive tool for monitoring and automating crops, providing key data on plant growth conditions and enabling precise control. In greenhouses, polytunnels, and vertical farms, the Planter System collects real-time data on air temperature and humidity, lighting parameters, soil moisture, and many other parameters that are critical for proper plant growth.

Monitoring of key parameters

Satellites equipped with sensors placed throughout the greenhouse transmit data to the Central Unit, which will send you a notification when your crops require your attention. 

Example notifications:

  • Air temperature – the optimal range for tomatoes during the day is 24–26°C – the Assistant notifies you when the temperature goes outside the optimal range.
  • Air humidity – it should be 60–70%, but in some areas it has dropped to 50%.
  • Light level – the system measures PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density) with high accuracy and adjusts supplemental lighting if natural light is insufficient, or activates shading when plants are at risk of stress and sunburn.
  • Moisture and water weight in the growing medium – the optimal level is 40%, but measurements indicate a drop to 30% – with an accuracy of 10 ml. When solar energy suddenly increases, the system will recommend early watering.
  • Soil pH and EC – should be stable within the range of 5.8–6.2, but the system detects a rise to pH 7 – react immediately.

Environmental data at your fingertips – an app for your phone and computer

All data is available in the Web App—you can view it on your smartphone and computer:

  • Accurate real-time values– full transparency of measurements.
  • History presented in intuitive charts– changes in parameters over time and trend analysis.
  • 3D visualizations and animations – temperature and humidity distribution in different parts of the greenhouse, allowing you to respond precisely to microclimatic differences.
  • Alert system – notifications sent via text message, email, or to your phone when values exceed optimal levels.
  • Archived data– the more data you collect, the more insightful analyses you’ll be able to perform, and the AI Assistant in the admin panel will provide you with increasingly precise suggestions.

Automated control of cultivation processes

Based on collected data or your plan, the Planter System can automatically control key processes:

  • Watering, sprinkling, and fertigation – the system will activate irrigation when the soil reaches a critical moisture level, and if the EC exceeds recommended values, it will adjust fertilizer dosing.
  • Heating and cooling – if the temperature drops below the set value at night, the system activates heating. During the day, when it rises above normal, it will activate ventilation, shading, or open doors and windows.
  • Lighting – if light intensity drops below the optimal level, the system will adjust the lighting, ensuring plants receive the appropriate amount of energy for photosynthesis.
  • Cost management – Planter can integrate with water and energy meters and aggregate data from them, just like from sensors. This gives you a convenient overview of costs both at a high level and in detail (feature coming soon).
